August 2006 - Exhibition in Ryde

A small exhibition was held in Ryde Library from 18 to 29 August.   The display was a double sided set of three boards, showing some of the research carried out so far by the Group, particularly some of the stories of the people buried in the Ryde Cemetery.

 

This exhibition consisted of some of the stories of the people who have been researched so far, such as General Sir Sam Browne, Alexander Findley Smith, Thomas Hellyer, Haynes and Heward, and Thomas Rickard, plus others.


Copies of the most recent Newsletter, membership forms, and postscards with the web address were available to take away.
